Everyone has a story to be told. Therefore, I’m passionate about people. Meaningful conversation is the glue in which society binds itself together to ensure continued trust amongst one another. I’ve found that I’ve learned my most valuable life lessons by listening intently. I’ve built skyscrapers, swam with sharks, and competed in the olympics all by having human conversations with those I encounter.

Journalism, specifically production, has granted me an outlet to tell these stories and report the world around me. Journalism is synonymous to storytelling and having the opportunity spread information first-hand fulfills my passion for people.

There’s power in creativity. Creative production places the viewer in the scene of the story being told. Having the ability to place an audience within a scene they otherwise would have never experienced generates a motivation for human conversation. People have stories and others can live them.
